May Vacay 2009 Universal Studios
On our way to the Studios, we stopped to snapped some pics of Rip Ride Rockit.
It was supposed to already be open (soft at the very least), but they hit some snags.
This part is outside of the park, between the Blue Man Group and the entrance for Universal Studios.
Here's part of the station and a brake run.
I think they're serious about this one.
Ever see a loop without an inversion?
Here, the ride rounds the Guggenheim scenery.
The whole thing towers over the New York backdrop.
Hmm. The sky was bluer over IoA.
This snow cone cart outside of Beetlejuice's Musical Review is a nicely themed touch.
Disaster! had the longest wait in the park!
Once upon a time, the line to get a picture with Jaws was longer than the line for Earthquake.
Looks like the Fear Factor show is gone.
Steve beat me soundly on MiB.
I was hoping the bubbles would be gone by now.
I confess that I don't like the Simpson's tv show. I do enjoy the ride, however.
LOL!
Clearly they're referring to Steve.
Yep.
The rain arrived, so the crowd made like a tree and got outta there.
On our way back to the car, we spotted signs for the Whopper Bar. We had to check it out.
You choose from a list of topping to truly have your Whooper,
your way.
