Children's Rides
There are three separate areas of Cedar Point dedicated to the shorties: Kiddy Kingdom, Camp Snoopy, and the Jr. Gemini Midway. The majority of these rides are intended for children, parents, and credit whores.
Kiddy Kingdom features the greatest number of rides, but these are intended really for the shortest of the shorties. Nearly all of them are your very standard round about rides, identical in concept (but not in size) to the quarter operated carousel rides you find in some kiddy areas of shopping malls. They have a variety of themes, be it 4x4s, police cars, or motorcycles, but the concept remains the same across the board. There are a few exceptions, notably the Kiddy Kingdom Carousel and the Roto-Whip.

Over in the Jr. Gemini Midway, there are a few additional children's rides. The major one, obviously, is Jr. Gemini. This small figure-8 style coaster is a perfect starter coaster for children. It's only 20 feet high and has a maximum speed of around 6mph. Not much to speak of, but the younger set really seems to enjoy it.

Camp Snoopy is more geared to the slightly older kids. This area features smaller versions of the big rides in the park, like Camp Bus (a pint-sized version of a drop ride), Lolli-Swing (a tiny version of a wave swinger) and Woodstock Express (if Jr. Gemini is Coasters 101, then Woodstock Express would be Coasters 102). As the name indicates, the entire area is themed to characters from the Peanuts comic strip. Characters appear regularly in this area for short shows and picture opportunities.
