TPS Report Christmas in Disney's Hollywood Studios
DHS has a very special Christmas display.
It might not look like much right now.
Just wait until the sun goes down, though.
It'll stop looking like the neighborhood that never took the Christmas lights down.
Before the lights, we grabbed a bite to eat at the Backlot
Express. Steve opted for a burger.
![]() I ordered the grilled veggie sandwich. I can't go on enough about the options Disney gives vegetarians.
It's show time!
We ran into our friend Julie that night. This is Steve's sassy face.
There are little bits of humor/whimsy all over the place.
They don't just string lights all over the place. They have some custom displays, too.
Many of the displays are from the Osborne Family's original set-up.
That's right! This all started with a Christmas light display a family in Little Rock, Arkansas created.
There was a stink about it in the neighborhood, so Disney stepped in.
They moved the whole display to Orlando, where no one minds the lights, music or HUGE electric bill.
Now millions of visitors, like Karen, get to enjoy it! |
