Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

Okay, let's be honest. Six Flags
Kentucky Kingdom isn't exactly the feather
in the Six Flags cap.
Located smack-dab in the middle of the
Louisville Fairgrounds, this is a very
unusual park. Its layout takes convoluted to a whole new level.
But hey - since it's on the fairgrounds, they can't jack up the parking. So that's a plus.
From the parking lot, it looks like there's an acceptable amount of fun to be had...
Lotsa Looney Tunes characters waiting at the gates to greet us.
But apparently no one is interested in a photo.
This picture has 17 people in it, and not a
damn one of them
is looking at the camera. Pretty neat trick.
Yes, I recycled the Flash Pass picture from our 2006 trip.
But wow. $10 for five attractions. That'll save literally minutes!
Um, really? This is the best Louisville can offer for DC characters?
Oh. Apparently there's five Hooters restaurants in the area. Nevermind.
First area we stopped in was the Looney Tunes kids' area.
Love the fountain.
Anyone else intrigued by the FU?
The inside of the FUn Factory had lots of
Looney Tunes figures engaged
in their traditional shenanigans. But I suck at the foam ball things, so
we didn't hang long.
