King's Island
(2006/2007)
Okay, we're playing catch-up on the PTRs,
so this is a combo deal featuring shots from our
2006 visit (when Paramount still ran things) and our 2007 visit (when Cedar Fair
was large
and in charge).
Obviously the entrance shot is from 2006, what with the big Paramount logo up front.

I like the International Drive thing.
It's clearly a Disneyland influence, and it
really does help a guest become immersed in the park.
Hoboy. On the 2007 visit, the Sean
Hannity radio show was
doing a live broadcast from the park with "dignitaries" such as
Rudy "If I just win Florida, can I be President?" Giuliani.
First area we hit up was the Action Zone...
I have to admit, I kinda liked Face/Off.
The "facing the row across from you"
gag wasn't a big deal, but I like the inverted boomerang thing.
Look, it's no Deja Vu (RIP), but it's close enough.
The park's requisite shoot-the-chutes...
The Drop Zone tower weighs in at 315 feet,
making it the largest Intamin AG
Gyro Drop in the world.
Good stuff.
