Hard Rock Park Backstage Tour
Anyways, next up is the British Invasion!
Sweet ride. You can register to win
it, but we totally forgot to put in an entry form.
If anyone swings by there, would you mind dropping our names in, kthanx.
A recreation of the classic Abbey Road shot, screwed up totally by my fat head (and holy crap, how about that balding?)
The British Invasion area will also be home to the Roadies Stunt Show, which I think is a hella-clever idea.
All the King's Men will be the park's
carousel (sorry, purists. Looks like fiberglass mounts). This mount
has been
removed from the room as of February 10th. Either they've moved it to the
attraction or my big fat ass cracked it.
Carnaby Street Cafe, one of many themed
eateries.
You had me at Go-Go girls in cages.
Yay for pubs! Yay for Fish and Chips!
Yay for a loo in the back!
Punk Pit looks like it will be some sort of extravagant variation of a bounce house.
The Magic Mushroom Gardens ride looks like
a stylized version of a scrambler.
How this incorporates the World's Largest Twirling Black Light Poster remains to
be seen...
The next room is for the "Born in the USA"
section of the park.
The transition in the carpet was a really nice touch.
Garage Jam is going to be a play area with
foam balls.
Y'know, for kids.
Slippery When Wet is going to be an interactive water coaster similar to the Nickelodeon Flying Super Saturator.
The final room on the Backstage Tour is the model room, featuring the full model of the park.
It also featured another cool video effect.
The underwater logo projected on the floor "splashes" when you walk through it.
Sorry, you can't kill the fish on this one.
