Right across the way from Geronimo Drop you'll find the Dream Catcher, which is a common Paratrooper ride. Like the other rides in this area, it's not so much about the ride as it is about the location...
A dreamcatcher works. If your dream is to be gay.
The last ride in this area is the Gunslinger.
A themed up Chance Yo-Yo, this thing is completely insane. For half the cycle, you are flying over the freaking fence and swinging over the damn mountain. I'm hit or miss with swing rides, but Karen never rides them...
See what I was saying about peer pressure, kids? She ended up really enjoying herself, which means we may be adding yo-yos and wave swingers into our riding repertoire. Yay!
Yeah, and he gives ME grief about gear. Whatever, Tommy. While most of the gang rode that hideous Round-Up monstrosity, Brandi and I found a practical method for working on the skills we learned on the streets.
She kinda beat the crap outta me. I like to think it was because I was drawing the bad guys' fire away from her. Last ride in this area was their scrambler.
In the below picture, Karen appears to be thinking "goodness, I certainly do enjoy riding on this scrambler!" I appear to be thinking "If I puke in front of this crew they will NEVER let it go."
Once the group was reunited ('cause it feels so good), we took one last look at the stunning view from this side of the park.
Twenty minutes later, we finally moved on (the G.A.P. doesn't move fast. We're slow, but lethal. Like a puma) to the actual "Ghost Town" section of the park. Click here for Page 3 of Ghost Town in the Sky Click here to return to ThemeParkSushi's main page |
